Early on I discovered that the greatest way to be a successful personal injury attorney is to always make sure that the client and the client’s needs come first. This belief must be followed not only at every stage of a case, but by every person in a law firm, attorneys and all staff members alike. This means I must be empathetic and understanding of the clients and their ordeals. I must keep them informed at all times. I need to give them my best advice, but allow them to make the critical decisions in the case and then carry out their wishes. I need to guide them through unfamiliar waters, often under very frightening circumstances.
They must always know that I am their advocate and will make sure I do my best to reach a fair resolution of the case. This cuts across all types of cases that I handle, whether it be an auto collision, an injury from a defective product, liability of government in maintaining roadways, supervising parolees, taking charge of foster children, the death of a loved one from any negligent cause.
